The Year of the Wood Dragon is in her final weeks and is passing the torch to the Wood Snake. The Dragon has done a lot of burning away of what no longer serves us, leaving us perched upon a precipice of completion, closure, and change. The sacred Dragon has opened our eyes to another reality standing before us. To enter that reality, there is what we dare to say is an initiatory passage we all must take up. And that is to ingest the Snake Medicine.

What is Snake Medicine?

Snake Medicine is not just a mere shedding of skin. That’s too simple and obvious. It is a death journey through the murkiest, encrusted remaining layers of hidden programming spanning lifetimes that have left us lost to our deep soul. The Dragon prepared us for the death of which we speak, and now the Snake approaches. 

What the Snake knows is this death is truly our spark point to enter Life, to cross the threshold into another reality, the reality of who we honestly and truly are. There is no one to turn to and no one can turn toward us for the motivation and the impulse to come through this death to the other side. It is the ultimate ally inside us who knows just what to do.

Snake Medicine taps the internal resource we have forgotten is there. It can uncoil us from subterranean depths where our hide out places live. The red-eyed gaze of the Snake pierces through remaining layers of where we have gotten split between what is real and what is deceptive, slippery fears, doubts, and self-negation to shed light upon and shine light within our deep souls.  This is a real inside job that only a Snake can do.

The Year of the Snake

We have been through it over and over, but now we must come through it. We are required to show up here as never before. The Snake will take us on the journey of inner retreat and reconnect us to what has felt severed or missing, what has felt lost and gone. This is the journey that serves. The journey that is the saving grace for our souls.

The Class

Ellias will weave his teachings into a restorative pattern as how to navigate this journey all the way through both the death and birth pangs that will encompass us this year. He will dive into how to shed the status quo and the dark hidden places, helping us drop further to the inside to meet the transcendence of the Snake. This is not a class for the faint of heart, but it will be curative if we will take the medicine.
