Year of the Fire Horse 2026—The Fire Horse Way

Before I Forgot
When I was five, I got my first horse, Michael—Mike for short. We barrel raced, cut paths through the thick woods, jumped streams, played in the snow, and flew through the fields. I taught him to rear up on command, secret cues, and that little girls love their horses like nothing else. And he taught me adventure, freedom, trust, courage, how to sense, and what joyful connection feels like. And then I forgot.

The Door Is Gone
The door has been kicked open and burned to the ground. What you now see and feel, you cannot possibly un-see and un-feel. The Year of the Fire Horse comes in a New Moon Solar Eclipse at 29° Aquarius, arriving like a cosmic echo of a truth we can’t un-know.

Maybe you’re starting to move through it inside and feel momentum. Or maybe you’re standing at a crossroads—half thawed and half still frozen. It doesn’t matter. Whatever your state, the Fire Horse is coming regardless. Not to drag you or demand anything. Not to gallop you away to a peaceful land, but to offer somatic scripture—the horse way. She is devoted to the ways of remembering the body’s wisdom.

Liberation
The Fire Horse can sense into you and help you regulate and ignite your inner life all the way through, clearing your channels and widening your connection. Horses are so grounded, in tune, and have that something else within them. They are natural wayshowers of weaving the inner and the outer, the light and the dark, the sacred and the ordinary.

The Fire Horse is here to help us fully claim liberation… stand in it, speak through it, lead with it, live in it.

Liberation is not an idea, it’s a rooted instinct, and who better than a horse to lead the charge?

Horse Medicine
Horses can be both gentle and wild and everything in between, and whatever they bring is the medicine you most need. Their medicine works deep in the inner roots with full power and presence. Their horse sense, in a way, is unfathomable, but if you can soak in the experience of them, it’s a healing balm and a life catalyst. It’s a movement like no other. 

If You Let It

The smell of a horse breaks any spell, if you let it.

The sound of their hooves ushers in an inner rhythm of safety, if you let it.

The feel of their body and the thickness of their mane grounds you and opens the sacred earth in you, if you let it.

The taste of your shared breath unshackles something inside, if you let it.

The sight of their breathtaking beauty and the beholding in their eyes heals you, blesses you, and moves you, if you let it.

And while this may sound like the Fire Horse is outside of us—she’s not. She is so deep in us. She is like a Uranian current coming up from deep underground into our feet to move us both inwardly and outwardly. What happens between you and the Fire Horse is up to you. It will be a different experience for everyone. But one thing it will be for all of us is extraordinary, if we let it.

The Fire Horse walks right beside us this year to share her innate wisdom and ways.

The Fire Horse is here to pierce reality—transformational reality. There is a crucial movement—the Light is in command, not the Dark. Every 60 years the Fire Horse shows up. The Fire Horse comes now to ignite the heart, fire up the soul, and lead us into and through the remaining bramble, to the inner castle where our Beloved Self waits, and then out into the arms of new Life.

There is one prevailing medicine—Love heals everything—and the Fire Horse can take you there, if you let her. Join us and witness this forever-changing moment with us.

As I end these words, I look out my window at the snow-covered section of land that once held a horse grove, and Mike—my first horse—looks at me and rears up once again, saying:

let’s go, let’s ride—
I know the trails, and you are gonna love it.
